STORY

Based on the novel "The Futurological Congress" by Stanislaw Lem. Famous actress Robin Wright receives an unexpected offer from Paramount. In return for an outrageous amount of money, the studio wants to scan her in order to become the sole owner of her image. Executives will produce films in which she will never age. Her image won’t belong to her anymore. However, the money will allow to afford the best medical care her sick child deserves. Fast-forward twenty years: our live–action film turns into animation. The world is ruled by Paramount Nagasaki. The studio has become a pharmaceutical conglomerate, which chemically controls all our emotions. Robin Wright is the guest of honour at their congress. She is now 63 and nobody recognizes her. All of a sudden, an army of rebels disrupts the event. Fighting against the power of drugs, they want to reconquer the right to control their own imaginations. Will Robin Wright return to reality, a world in which she is old and anonymous, but able to have her 30-year-old son cured, or will she choose the fascinating lies of a chemical world in which she will remain forever young?
