Göteborg, Sweden. We meet Tadeusz Zlamal, a retired ballet dancer from the Baltic Opera in Gdansk. Praised for his exceptional talent and successes, he and his partner have enjoyed success in Europe and around the world. Retirement usually proves a major disaster for dancers. However, Zlamal found his way to stay close to dancing - he started to paint it. And he continues to do so in a very sensitive and creative way. We follow a man who is in the process of looking back on his life. From visiting ballet festivals in Poland, his family, and reminiscing about his life, we focus on a man that can’t help but live, even if he can no longer dance.
