synopsis
Paweł Zawadzki (Maciej Stuhr) is released out of prison and comes back to his hometown – a picturesque Małomorze – where his father, a retired navy oficer Bogdan Zawadzki (Jacek Koman), nicknamed The Captain, still lives. He takes up a new job at a local high-school, taking a class of senior pupils under his care. The Teach and his father take the teenagers on a field trip cruise, during which one of he pupils dissapears – Kacper Krynicki, a rebel and outsider. Local Police begins the toughest investigation in the history of this small town. Detective Ewa Krawiec (Roma Gąsiorowska) quickly realises, that this couldn’t have been a suicide, and that someone close to him – a friend or an adult – might be involved.
